Activity Advent Calendar
It may be a slightly different Christmas this year for everyone,but at Windlesham Manor we are determined to ensure each and everyone of our Residents has the best Christmas! To keep spirits high and get everyone in the festive spirit we created a Christmas activity advent calendar. Each day our Residents have a fantastic and varied activity to enjoy. From Pomander making, flower arranging, festive food tastings, to even a night at The Royal Ballet and a Zoom Carol Concert!
The Zoom Carols was extra special. Our priority is to ensure the residents stay connected with their families. Our Residents love to sing and our Choir is very popular. Our activities coordinator Sarah created special large print Christmas songbooks and it has been lovely to have a concert to practice for. It was so popular we held two separate performances. Our relatives joined us virtually in the lounge and we all had an old fashioned festive sing song together. It was quite emotional singing altogether and we will continue to do all we can to keep everyone
